Paddington is located in the borough of Westminster, London. It is located on the northern border Hyde Park’s Kensington Gardens, west of Marylebone, and east of Notting Hill including the neighborhood of Bayswater. To its north lies Maida Vale, known for its beautiful canal area which includes the serene Little Venice.
Paddington is probably best known for it’s fictional children’s literature character Paddington Bear, who arrived in London after a long voyage from his homeland Peru and entered London through Paddington Station. He was discovered in the station by the Brown family, who aptly named him Paddington Bear.
